I’ve been in the IT field for several years, but I have always worked with and on computers and networks. It was always a hobby that turned in to a career. At my current job I’m the IT manager of a company with about 200 employees all using computers for their daily work. We also have network communications running between 6 remote locations. Our main applications are hosted off site and we have to communicate daily with 12 different manufacturers. Aside from the daily problems I encounter with all these different networks and users, I also get tons of questions from fellow co-workers for home computer advice. So I decided to write a blog posting computer advice solutions to the many questions I get asked.

I plan to post advice and solutions to problems and questions the home pc user might and probably would encounter. I will try and keep everything in simple enough terms that most any home computer user would understand and be able to do themselves. The links I post on here will only take you to places on the Internet I personally trust and use. Other links may be to sites belonging to friends and again, they are trustworthy sites and would not harm your computer.

Future posts will offer home computer advice and solutions for the most popular questions I’m asked as well as many others. If you have a problem that I haven’t addressed yet, you will soon be able to ask for computer advice or a solution. As I get these requests I will attempt to answer the most popular ones first. This will be a site for the masses and not individual support. If you want individual one-on-one support I am available for hire as a consultant.
